How do we choose our music?
Our selection process is rooted in creating an engaging and enriching experience for our students. We consider several key criteria:
Age Appropriate & Fun Factor: We select songs that are both enjoyable to sing and suitable for our students' age levels, ensuring that every piece is accessible and engaging!
Skill Development: Our music choices help build essential skills such as diction, harmony, pitch, and vocal range, allowing students to grow as well-rounded performers.
Variety & Inspiration: We embrace a diverse range of styles—from musical theatre and movie soundtracks to pop, rock, scat, and holiday classics. By incorporating various genres, we keep the experience fresh and inspiring. Our aim is to choose music that not only stays with our singers but also uplifts and inspires them, fostering positive brain pathways.
