A joyful introduction to music and singing! Through playful vocal exercises, movement, and group songs, kids begin to develop rhythm, pitch, and performance confidence in a fun and supportive setting.

Treble Makers 🎼

Ages 8–14  🟡 45 mins 🟡 12 classes 🟡 $150/term

Where young voices grow strong! This energetic and skill-building choir focuses on harmony, vocal technique, and performance. Singers gain confidence through musical exploration and collaborative singing. 

Handbell Class 🔔 

Ages 5–14  🟡 15 mins 🟡 12 classes 🟡 $25-40/term

A fun and unique way to explore music and teamwork! In this class, students learn to read simple music, develop rhythm and coordination, and work together to create beautiful melodies using handbells. It’s a great way to build musical skills in a hands-on, engaging environment. 

Handbells can be added when registering for any other class for$25, or taken on its own for $40 for the full session.

Intro to Music 🎵

Our Intro to Music class helps students build a strong foundation in reading and understanding music. Through fun activities and guided singing, students learn how to read music, notes, rhythms, and how to sing. We’ll learn a few songs each term to build confidence and prepare for choir, piano, or other musical studies. 

How do we choose our music?

Our selection process is rooted in creating an engaging and enriching experience for our students. We consider several key criteria:

• Age Appropriate & Fun Factor: We select songs that are both enjoyable to sing and suitable for our students' age levels, ensuring that every piece is accessible and engaging! 

• Skill Development: Our music choices help build essential skills such as diction, harmony, pitch, and vocal range, allowing students to grow as well-rounded performers. 

• Variety & Inspiration: We embrace a diverse range of styles—from musical theatre and movie soundtracks to pop, rock, scat, and holiday classics. By incorporating various genres, we keep the experience fresh and inspiring. Our aim is to choose music that not only stays with our singers but also uplifts and inspires them, fostering positive brain pathways.

• Thematic Focus: Using themes is a practical way to narrow down our options. It helps us curate a well-rounded recital program that not only showcases our students' talents, but also supports their mental well-being and overall success in multiple areas of life. 

In everything we do, our goal is to create a musical journey that is as fun as it is transformative.

What to Expect

Our choir classes are designed to be fun, educational, and performance-focused! Whether your child is in Tiny Tunes or part of our Vocal Fusion group, here’s what you can expect during each session:

• Vocal Warm-ups: Each class begins with a series of warm-ups to protect singers' voices and help improve vocal technique, breathing, and range.

• Repertoire: Students will learn a variety of songs, from classic choral pieces to contemporary tunes. We emphasize teamwork, harmony, and vocal blending to create beautiful, unified performances.

• Performance Skills: As we approach our recitals, students will work on performance techniques, stage presence, and confidence-building.

• Fun & Creative Learning: Classes are designed to be engaging and interactive. We incorporate a sense of community to help every student enjoy the music-making process.

Each session is designed to help students grow at their own pace and have fun while doing it!
